Conventional Gas Fire Conventional flue gas fires rely on the natural circulation of air in your room and must always be connected to a chimney in order to function safely! It works by drawing the air from surrounding areas and combine with draught air to bring you an efficient gas fire. Please note, ventilation points are needed at the front of the fire to help capture the airflow. Ventilation openings are also required on the outside facing walls of the room to ensure comfort and safety. Coal effect These fires have all the benefits of a coal-burning fire, the heat, the aesthetics and the warm, cosy feeling. All without the issue of having to repeatedly top it up!
